Lauri Elliott has over 25 years of experience in strategy, innovation, organizational development, change management, human performance technology, business process re-engineering, instructional design, and technology. In addition, Lauri has over 13 years of in-depth business and strategy experience in developing markets, particularly Africa.

As the head of Afribiz Group, Inc. and The Afribiz Foundation, Lauri assists small/start-up to large companies to develop strategies and new projects/new ventures, focusing on early stage development, pre-transaction activities, and funding, in Africa. Lauri leads a team that develops methodologies for managing  and developing partnerships, designing and deploying early stage projects/ventures, and structuring organizations and systems to minimize risk and maximize opportunities while building sustainable enterprises. These methodologies are specifically designed for turbulent, chaotic, and continually changing business environments in emerging and frontier markets.

Nwakego is an African economics and policy specialist. She has extensive experience doing research for multinational companies like Johnson and Johnson, Bristol Myers Squibb, WPP and Mobile Telecom Networks, (M.T.N.) amongst others.
Nwakego has co-authored two books on African business and trade. One of the books, Redefining Business in the New Africa (2011) was launched at the World Bank. She is a media commentator and analyst for Sub-Sahara economics policy, and occasionally writes about African security policy. 

She has a master’s degree in Applied Economics from Eastern Michigan University. She is currently finishing up her doctorate degree at the University of Nigeria. Her research focus is health and infrastructure economics in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Arthur has a career with over 20 years of experience working in the financial services sector. He began his career in investment banking with First Merchant Bank, now known as BancABC a part of Atlas Mara, as a Financial Trader. He proceeded to become a Trader in International Money Markets with the Standard Bank Group.

Arthur joined the Tetrad Group, a firm of a suite of investment management entities, where he rose to the position of Executive Director responsible for Wholesale Markets. He was engaged as a Treasury Consultant with CABS, a member of the Old Mutual Group. Subsequently he has been involved as the lead promoter of Allumez Capital, a venture capital company focusing on providing financial solutions for small and medium sized enterprises.

He holds a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
